Champions Barber Shop was founded in 2010 by Miguel Nieves. A West Chester local for his entire life, Miguel wanted his barber shop to become a staple in the community, and his Chestnut Street shop became a hub for all community members to connect and receive exemplary services. His dreams grew in 2014 when he opened Champions on High Street, his second location, located just three blocks from the West Chester University campus.
In 2017, the Champions brand expanded once again with the opening of Champions School of Barbering, giving students from all walks of life a chance to pursue their barbering dreams. Visit Champions School of Barbering to learn more.
Over the years, the Chestnut Street shop moved to Gay Street and now is located on Church Street. Miguel has also rebranded the business to Champions Premier Barber Shop, taking services and the overall customer experience to a higher standard.
